The Group is a charity providing a wide range of housing for families, single people, the elderly and those with support needs.
Northdown Lodge is a residential care home which currently supports five residents with varying support needs. It is a bright clean house with a friendly homely feel. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced team to provide exceptional service to our clients.
You will support clients in all aspects of their daily living, which will include preparing meals, house-keeping, personal care, being a part of the local community, liaising with families, and promoting independence. You will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and updating of clients personal care plans. The support that you deliver will take into account the needs, rights and aspirations of the clients. You will be required to work in a safe professional way and adhere to all guidelines and polices.
You will need excellent communication skills, be confident in your own judgement and have an understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
The successful candidate should have an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or be prepared to work towards this qualification. You will be required to undertake mandatory training as required.
