Abandoned Property
If you think that a property in your community has been abandoned, please report this immediately by calling your Neighbourhood Co-ordinator on 0300 100 1015, or putting the details on an online Contact Us form.
We will treat this with priority and will investigate whether the property has been abandoned or the resident has informed us that they are away form home for a reason.
Unauthorised Occupiers
If you think that somebody has moved into an empty property who is not entitled to be there, you should report this immediately using either of the two above methods - phone or online form.
We will treat this as a priority and investigate whether the property is being occupied legally with our approval or not. Where we find someone is an unauthorised occupier we will take action to legally remove them from the property.
We have an ongoing system of tenancy checks to ensure that the legal tenant is in occupation, as well as that the property is maintained in a reasonable condition.
