During the void, our contractors undertake health and safety checks as well as work on the property to get it ready for the new tenant. This is to make sure that all our properties are safe, clean and tidy, and in good working order when we let them.
To make sure that we have set and are meeting the standards you expect we have recently teamed up with some tenant representatives and our contractor Spectrum Property Services to view three empty properties, look a the cost of work and agree a standard that is acceptable to tenants but is affordable.
This is called the Re-Let Standard.
Our tenants asked that we produced a Re-let standards leaflet which prospective tenants would receive before they signed the tenancy agreement. This means that when we ask them to judge (see our Re-let standard feedback) the quality of the property and tell us if we have met the standard they knew what to expect.

New Tenant' Satisfaction Feedback
We survey our new tenants when they move in and these are our latest findings. We ask them to tell us if we have met the re-let standard and if they are happy with the service we have provided.
Below you will see the results for April 2011 to September 2011, and for the end of the previous financial year. The results show that since we have been working in partnership with Spectrum you have been much happy with the standard of the property we let.
