Monitoring Groups
The Resident Involvement Monitoring Group (known as RiM-G)
RiM-G aims to ensure that a customer focused Resident Involvement service is offered throughout all of Westcountry Housing's activities. It is a group of 6 residents who try to ensure that residents are at the centre of all our activities and that we are continually working in partnership with our residents.
The Group reviews the Resident Involvement strategy every two years to make sure that it continues to reflect resident’s priorities and is exploring innovative good practice in resident involvement.
The group also monitor the implementation of the strategy through the Resident Involvement Team’s annual action plans . They set targets for the coming year for the Resident Involvement performance indicators and projects within the annual plan. They receive reports on the progress of the Resident Involvement annual plan and can hold any member of staff to account if concerns arise. RiM-G can also report any concerns they come across to the Resident Scrutiny Panel and report on the progress of Resident Involvement to the Panel twice a year.
RiM-G recruits 3 new residents to the group each year so that when the strategy is reviewed every two years a new group of residents undertakes the monitoring of its implementation. If you are interested in joining the group then please email us at info@westcountryha.org,uk
