Northdown Lodge, Bideford
Westcountry is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the provision of accommodation with care.
Northdown Lodge is a six bedded residential care unit providing care and support for adults with a Learning Disability. Please read the Northdown Lodge brochure for more information.
Situated close to the centre of Bideford, Northdown Lodge offers a personalised service, designed to work within the local community.
We provide 24-hour staff cover, and our staff are trained to a high standard with 80% having achieved a relevant NVQ Level 2 Qualification, or above. At the last CQC inspection, the service was rated as 2 star “good”.
In early 2011, Westcountry applied to the CQC to extend the scope of registration to allow the provision of care services to people living in their own home, which will allow for a more holistic service to be offered to clients already in receipt of Westcountry’s community based support services.
