We are a truly local organisation (established in 1965) and deal in a hands-on way with local housing issues providing more than 4,500 homes in the region. We offer a variety of housing including affordable rented accommodation, shared ownership properties, sheltered and supported housing; as well as advice and support services. Westcountry Housing is also a member of Westward Housing Group, and with Tarka Housing, the Group provides and manages more than 6,000 homes in Devon and Cornwall.

Tarka Housing is a new organisation, established in partnership with Torridge District Council, to take on the ownership and management of the housing service following a successful vote by Torridge residents in 2007.
