Westward Housing Group was established in 2007 to bring together Westcountry Housing, a traditional association working in the south-west, and Tarka Housing which was formed to take on the Torridge District Council housing stock. The Group is responsible for over 6000 properties and employs 360 staff.
Westward was formed for the strategic purpose of creating a strong regional provider. It is seeking to grow to help meet the housing challenges in the south-west, working to deliver excellence in providing better homes, healthier environments and stronger neighbourhoods.
We are now looking to recruit a new Chair who will have the ability and experience to:
• drive the Group’s vision
• develop strong relationships within the organisation
• act as an ambassador to champion Westward’s strategic purpose
