Abandoned Property
If you think that a property has been abandoned, please report this immediately by calling your Neighbourhood Officer or filling in a Contact Us form with the appropriate details.
We will then investigate as a matter of priority and take the appropriate action which may include repossesion.
Unauthorised Occupiers
If you think that somebody has moved into an empty property who is not entitled to be there, you should report this immediately by telephoning your Neighbourhood Officer or letting us know the details on a Contact Us form.
We will then investigate as a matter of priority and take action to legally remove any unauthorised occupiers.
Westcountry carries out periodic tenancy checks to ensure that the legal tenant is in occupation, as well as that the property is maintained in a reasonable condition.
