PAYMENT CARD:

All residents are supplied with a payment card to help access a number of the different payment methods shown below.  If you need a replacement card, please contact us.

WAYS TO PAY:

HOUSING BENEFIT:                                                                                        

If you receive Housing Benefit, it can be paid directly into your rent account.  Payment of Housing Benefit is normally made 4 weeks in arrears.  You can learn more about Housing Benefit and see if you may be eligible here.

BENEFIT DEDUCTIONS:
If you receive Income Support, Job Seeker’s Allowance, Employment Support Allowance or Pension Credit, and have rent arrears of more than 4 weeks, you can have a set amount deducted from your benefit.  This is then paid directly in to your rent account.

BANK OR BUILDING SOCIETY:

Direct Debit
The direct debit mandate form can be downloaded here, completed and sent to us, or call the Income Services team who can set up a direct debit for you over the phone.

Standing Order
The standing order form can be downloaded here, completed and sent to your bank, or set this up with your bank by quoting our Alliance & Leicester bank details: sort code 72-00-00, account number 02015900 and your ten digit tenancy reference number.

Bank Transfer
Use your bank or building society’s online banking or telebanking services by quoting our Alliance & Leicester bank details: sort code 72-00-00, account number 02015900 and your ten digit tenancy reference number.

INTERNET:
Payment can be made at any time by debit card or credit card to allpay, Westcountry’s processing payments agent, at www.allpay.net   They accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch (Maestro) and Solo cards.

TEXT MESSAGE:
A brief online registration  is needed first at http://www.allpay.net/text_payments  A text is then sent with a given code and the amount being paid, to a designated number.

PAYPOINT:
Payments can be made free at any PayPoint shop using your payment card. All PayPoints take cash, but some shops also take cheques, debit cards and credit cards.  Or pay online at PayPoint.

POST:
Cheques and postal orders (payable to ‘Westcountry Housing’) sent to Templar House, Collett Way, Newton Abbot TQ12 4PH. Write your ten digit tenancy reference number, if known, and/or name and tenancy address on the reverse. 

POST OFFICE:
Payments using your payment card can be made using cash, cheque (payable to ‘Post Office Limited’) or debit cards.

TELEPHONE:
Debit card payments can be made over the phone in two ways. The Money Advice Team process payments during normal office hours, or
please ring ‘allpay’,Westcountry’s processing payments agent on 0870 7700472, which is a 24-hour, seven days-a-week service.

EMPLOYER:
You can ask your employer to make payments direct from your wages to your Westcountry rent account. Please contact the Money Advice Team for more information.
