Getting Involved

Supporting You To Be Involved

Westcountry benefits greatly from any time and commitment given by residents.   We are committed to ensuring that any costs that you incur because of your involvement are reimbursed.  A summary of our expenses policy can be found here giving details of what can be claimed and how to claim it. We aim to ensure that you are reimbursed, in cash if possible, as soon as possible after you have made a claim, usually on the same day.  Training will be offered alongside every opportunity to be involved, so don’t be put off if you feel don’t have many of the skills required at the moment – enthusiasm and a willingness to learn is all that matters. This could be an opportunity for you to gain new skills.

Service Improvement

There are a whole range of ways that residents can get involved to help us improve the services we provide. These range from regular meetings looking at the detail of our future plans through to one off fun events for all the family.

Quality Assurance Teams

The quality assurance teams are ways that residents can regularly tell us how well we are providing current services on a day to day basis. Resident can be involved at a range of levels depending on the amount of time and commitment they have available to offer.
