What you do in an emergency

 

During office hours:
If you have an emergency please call our Asset Management department on: 0845 073 1083. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, except bank holidays.

Out of Office Hours:
If you have one of the following urgent problems listed below, and it occurs outside the office open hours, please call Call24Hour on 0800 378410.

  • Gas leak or smell of gas
  • Total loss of gas supply (not including supply failure)
  • Burst water main
  • Blocked flue
  • Total loss of electrical power (not including SWEB/Western Power failure)
  • Major fault with electricity supply
  • Unsafe electrical fittings
  • Any other problem or defect which puts the health, safety or security of a tenant or a third party at immediate risk, or which affects the structure of the building adversely.

Out of office hours, emergency repairs are handled by Call24Hour call centre operators who have a full list of our properties and the relevant contractors available.

All out of hours requests for repairs are logged and instructions are issued to contractors to attend as required. The Asset Management department will take the necessary follow up action.

The out of hours emergency telephone number for residents to call is widely available, however it should be stressed that this is only for genuine emergencies.
